Deleting files

To delete unnecessary files or folders from Yandex.Disk:

  1. Select and tap  → Delete.
  2. Once you confirm the deletion, all selected files will be moved to the Trash.

To restore deleted files or folders from the Trash, select them and tap the icon. The files will be moved to the Disk folder.

Files are stored in the Trash for 30 days, and then they are automatically removed from the server. You can't restore files that have been deleted from the server.

Attention. Files in the Trash still take up space on your Disk. To free up more space, empty the Trash.

  1. Open settings.
  2. Select Help and feedback → Report a problem
  3. Select the relevant issue.
  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.
Note. Please report problems related to the mobile app from the app itself and not these Help pages. This will ensure your message reaches the right specialists and is answered sooner. Additionally, when submitting from the app, our specialists get technical information that helps them sort out the problem.
