The “Highest available position” strategy allows you to receive the maximum possible volume of traffic for a selected CPC. This strategy allows ads to be placed in all ad block positions, helping you get the maximum profit from your advertising.
Advertisers manually set the CPC for each keyword. Each ad will be displayed in the highest available position for the price specified by the advertiser.
The ad position depends on the CPC specified. This strategy does not guarantee impressions below the Yandex search results or in premium placement positions if the CPC is not sufficient for that position.
If your campaign ran earlier on any strategy under manual management and then you switched to automatic before enabling the “Highest available position” strategy, then when you switch back to manual management your bids will be set to match the rates you had right before switching to an automated strategy.
