Monitoring traffic volume

The traffic volume per keyword may change while your campaign is running. This may occur due to the number of people competing for a keyword and the value of their bids. To view all keywords that experienced changes in traffic volume, click Traffic volume changes monitoring by keyword on the My campaigns page. From this report, you can immediately go to your campaign and edit your bids. This information updates hourly. Changes that occurred over seven days ago will not be shown in the report.

If hourly bid adjustments or adjustments made using the Yandex Direct API cause the keyword traffic volume to change, the monitoring system will not take this into account. In this case, you won't get notifications about position changes.

If you get an email warning you about a change in traffic for a keyword that is not in the report, it means that the traffic volume for that keyword has gone back to the previous value.


The keyword traffic volume can be tracked in other ways besides monitoring. You can also enable the Get warnings about changes in traffic volume option in the user settings. In that case, you will get email notifications.
