Rules for submitting a letter of guarantee

A letter of guarantee must be signed by the payer (either a legal entity or an individual) to whom the invoices for ad campaigns are addressed. letter of guarantee requirements vary depending on the type of payer.

If your ad campaign was rejected due to missing documents, you may download a letter of guarantee template directly from the Yandex.Direct interface. In this case, some of the fields will be filled in automatically based on your ad campaign details. In some cases, you will also have to select the category of the advertised object.

Letter of guarantee from a legal entity

  1. A letter of guarantee from a legal entity needs to contain the organization's requisites (in the document header on company letterhead), specifically:

    • organization name;

    • legal address;

    • registration number;

    • contact details.

  2. The last page of the letter of guarantee should contain the following information:

    • corporate seal;

    • signing date;

    The letter of guarantee should be signed by the director of the organization or a designated representative (in the latter case a notarized copy of the power of attorney should be attached which grants said individual the right to sign the corresponding documents in the name of the organization).

  3. All pages of the completed letter of guarantee should be sewn together into a single document. The following information should be contained on the sealed label:

    • corporate seal;

    • total pages bound.

    If the pages of the letter of guarantee are not sewn together, then every page should be numbered and signed by the person who signed the letter of guarantee.

  4. The address of the advertised site should be included in the letter of guarantee. It's not necessary to list the concrete addresses of the ad campaign's landing pages due to the fact that the letter of guarantee will be considered void if the webpage address changes.

    Example

    Correct URL: www.site.com or site.com.

    Incorrect url: www.site.com/price, www.site.com/catalog.

  5. If one site is indicated in the ad, but when one clicks on the ad link they are re-directed to a different site, then the letter of guarantee needs to include both domains.

    Example

    If an ad contains a url to www.site1.com, but clicking the ad redirects the user to the www.site2.com site, the letter of guarantee must list both urls.

  6. If the ad campaign doesn't list the site address, then the letter of guarantee needs to contain the phone number from your vCard.

Note. 

The most convenient method is to download a letter of guarantee template from your ad campaign interface. The fields that you need to fill out will appear in italics. The remaining data will be filled in automatically using information from your ad campaign.

Letter of guarantee from individual

  1. A letter of guarantee from an individual should contain the following information:

    • full name;

    • ID or driver's license number

    • residential address.

  2. All pages of the completed letter of guarantee should be sewn together into a single document. The following information should be contained on the sealed label:

    • signature;

    • total pages bound.

    If the pages of the letter of guarantee are not sewn together, then every page should be enumerated and signed.

  3. The individual's signature on the letter of guarantee should be notarized.

  4. The address of the advertised site should be included in the letter of guarantee. It's not necessary to list the concrete addresses of the ad campaign's landing pages due to the fact that the letter of guarantee will be considered void if the webpage address changes.

    Example

    Correct URL: www.site.com or site.com.

    Incorrect url: www.site.com/price, www.site.com/catalog.
