Rules for submitting a letter of guarantee:

A guarantee letter must be signed by the payer (either a legal entity or an individual) to whom the invoices for ad campaigns are addressed. Guarantee letter requirements vary depending on the type of payer.

If your ad campaign was rejected due to missing documents, you may download a guarantee letter template directly from the Yandex.Direct interface. In this case, some of the fields will be filled in automatically based on your ad campaign details. In some cases, you will also have to select the category of the advertised object.

Guarantee letter from a legal entity

  1. A guarantee letter from a legal entity needs to contain the organization's requisites (in the document header on company letterhead), specifically:

    • organization name;

    • legal address;

    • registration number;

    • contact details.

  2. The last page of the guarantee letter should contain the following information:

    • corporate seal;

    • signing date;

    The guarantee letter should be signed by the director of the organization or a designated representative (in the latter case a notarized copy of the power of attorney should be attached which grants said individual the right to sign the corresponding documents in the name of the organization).

  3. All pages of the completed guarantee letter should be sewn together into a single document. The following information should be contained on the sealed label:

    • corporate seal;

    • total pages bound.

    If the pages of the guarantee letter are not sewn together, then every page should be numbered and signed by the person who signed the guarantee letter.

  4. The address of the advertised site should be included in the guarantee letter. It's not necessary to list the concrete addresses of the ad campaign's landing pages due to the fact that the guarantee letter will be considered void if the webpage address changes.

    Example

    Correct URL: www.site.com or site.com.

    Incorrect url: www.site.com/price, www.site.com/catalog.

  5. If one site is indicated in the ad, but when one clicks on the ad link they are re-directed to a different site, then the guarantee letter needs to include both domains.

    Example

    If an ad contains a url to www.site1.com, but clicking the ad redirects the user to the www.site2.com site, the guarantee letter must list both urls.

  6. If the ad campaign doesn't list the site address, then the guarantee letter needs to contain the phone number from your vCard.

Note.

The most convenient method is to download a guarantee letter template from your ad campaign interface. The fields that you need to fill out will appear in italics. The remaining data will be filled in automatically using information from your ad campaign.
