General requirements

To place display ads, provide HTML5 files. You can use GIF, JPEG, PNG files for fixed-size placements. All files related to the same ad unit must have the same name.

Ads in HTML5 format must meet the Requirements for HTML banners.

The banner must not mimic the site design (you can't use brand colors or interface elements. The creative must not blend in with the site background).

Note.

If the display of the “Ad” label is enabled in the banner parameters, the label will be added in the upper-left corner.

The size of the label is 54 × 12 pixels, with margins of 4 pixels on the top and left side. We do not recommend placing meaningful information on the top left in the field:
  • 150 × 30 pixels for ADFOX.
  • 65 × 30 pixels for Yandex Direct.

Additional requirements

Superbanner, double snippet (C2, C3) (100% × 250 format)
  1. Format: HTML5 only.
  2. Maximum archive size: 250 KB.
  3. Provide a single creative with a size of 100% × 250 (the 880 × 250 size is created from it automatically).
  4. The banner size may vary depending on the screen resolution and the size of the user's active browser window.
  5. Maximum banner width: 2880 pixels.
  6. Minimum size: 880 × 250 pixels.
  7. The banner must stretch to 100% of the screen width, correctly displaying within the user screen width. When changing the banner size, all the meaningful information must be centered along the width of 880 pixels.
  8. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 100% × 250 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

    <meta name="ad.size" content="width=100%,height=250">
  9. You can't use the <canvas> element, for example, in the format:
    <canvas id="canvas" width="880" height="250" style="">
  10. Banners with large flashing images or text elements and/or a background or with sharp movements of elements that significantly distract users from interacting with the site page (viewing the page contents or entering a query), as well as banners filled with low-quality text or images, are not accepted.
  11. You can't add a border around the banner. Exception: if the background of the Superbanner or its lower part is white (RGB #ffffff), add a gray strip (RGB #f3f3f3) with a height of 1 pixel along the bottom edge of the banner so that your ads don't merge with the auto.ru site header.

Banner branding (1180 × 520 format)
Prepare the banner using a template:
Technical requirements:
  1. Format: HTML5. You can also use GIF, JPEG, PNG.
  2. Maximum archive size: 150 KB.
  3. You are not allowed:
    • To add any kind of animation (you can only use a static image that follows the provided template).
    • To make any changes to the template structure.
    • To add a border around the banner.
  4. Image size: 1180 × 520 pixels.
  5. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 1180 × 520 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

  6. You can't use the <canvas> element, for example, in the format:
    <canvas id="canvas" width="1180" height="520" style="">
  7. Visual design requirements:
    • Number of characters in the title: maximum 30, font size: maximum 32 pt.
    • Number of characters in the description: maximum 130, font size: maximum 17 pt.
  8. The “Ad” label in the lower-left corner of the ad unit is required.
  9. You can use a brand logo or a call-to-action button in the lower-right corner of the ad unit.

  1. Format: HTML5. You can also use GIF, JPEG, PNG.
  2. Maximum archive size: 150 KB.
  3. Sizes:
    • Width: 240 pixels/300 pixels.
    • Height: 400 pixels/600 pixels.

C1 banner and C2 banner (880 × 90 format)
  1. Format: HTML5. You can also use GIF, JPEG, PNG.
  2. Maximum archive size: 150 KB.
  3. Size: 880 × 90 pixels.
  4. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 880 × 90 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

    <meta name="ad.size" content="width=880,height=90">

Mobile Snippet (100% × 150)
  1. Format: HTML5 only.
  2. Maximum archive size: 250 KB.
  3. Provide one creative with a size of 100% × 150 pixels.
  4. The banner size varies depending on the device screen resolution and orientation.
  5. Maximum banner width: 2880 pixels.
  6. Minimum size: 320 × 150 pixels.
  7. For the banner to look correct on mobile devices, it must stretch to 100% of the screen width, correctly displaying the content within the user screen width range. When stretching the banner, all the meaningful information must be horizontally centered.
  8. An uploaded HTML5 banner must have a size of 100% × 150 pixels. The banner size is specified in the <meta> element:

    <meta name="ad.size" content="width=100%,height=150">
  9. Banners with large flashing images or text elements and/or a background or with sharp movements of elements that significantly distract users from interacting with the site page (viewing the page contents or entering a query), as well as banners filled with low-quality text or images, are not accepted.

  3. Sizes:

    • Width: 300 pixels.
    • Height: 500 pixels.
  4. The navigation elements may overlap the upper and lower part of the banner, so you need to add margins of 100 pixels at the top and bottom. Be sure to place your meaningful information (such as click buttons, important text, promos) in the central area of the banner, between these margins.
