A new discounts scale in Yandex.Direct will take effect on September 1.
The annual adjustment of discount thresholds for contextual advertising on Yandex.Direct will take place on September 1.
Discounts will continue to be accrued and will be calculated from the total volume of services for the last 365 days without consideration of VAT. The calculation happens as follows: once a day, the system updates information on the cost of services for the previous 365 days and determines the size of the discount in correspondence to the sum. When an advertiser reaches the next threshold, the size of the discount is automatically recalculated. The new discount will be applied the day after being calculated.
Please note that due to changes in thresholds on September 1, some advertisers' current discount level may change. Amounts already calculated with a discount before September 1 will remain unchanged, but the discount will be recalculated according to the new scale when funds are transferred between campaigns.
