Retargeting moved from open testing mode and is now available by default to all advertisers in the professional interface.
The ability to work with this setting — to create new impression conditions and load statistics on existing ones — was added to the Direct API.
By using retargeting, it's possible to display special ads in the Yandex Advertising Network to the users who have already visited your site. This way, it's possible to remind recent visitors about your services and bring them back to your site. For example, for discounts or new offers.
Retargeting limits an ad's coverage to only your existing audience, so we recommend using it only on sites with a large quantity of visitors. That being said, it's better to create a separate ad text for each target group.
