How to save space on your hard disk

Direct Commander saves all data on your computer's hard disk. The program simultaneously creates a backup copy of your data automatically. The backup copy may be used in cases where a program was not shut down properly and/or the computer might have restored Yandex.Direct data that was saved earlier but not sent to the server.

A backup can take up several gigabytes if the user has many campaigns and ads.

If you don't think it's necessary to have a backup and want to free up more disk space, you can disable automatic backups. Just choose the ApplicationSettings item in the main Commander menu.

Uncheck the Enable automatic backups (recommended) box in the window that opens up and click Save.

All changes will be saved on your computer as before, but a backup will not be created.

How to configure copying rules for campaigns and groups

  2. In the Settings window that appears, go to the Copying tab.
  3. Check the boxes next to the items you want to copy with the campaigns and groups. Uncheck the boxes next to the items you want to exclude from copying.
  4. Click Save.
