How to add an ad
Tip
Before making any changes, download up-to-date campaign data from the server.
To add an ad:

On the Ad groups tab, select a group.

On the Ads tab, click Add.
Select an ad type: "Text & Image ad", "Image ad", or "Combinatorial adβ".Restriction
You can create image ads in Direct Commander only based on creatives uploaded from the computer or internet (but not creatives created in Ad Builder).

Edit the ad settings in the Editing section in the Inspector.
Restriction
When creating catalog page ads, titles and texts are generated automatically. To manually enter text for these ads, use the Yandex Direct Pro interface. For more information, see Yandex Direct Help. In the future, this option will become available in Direct Commander.

Press Ctrl + S (Cmd ⌘ + S on MacOS) or click the Save button at the bottom of Inspector.

Check that the ad is valid, i.e., it has the
icon next to it.The
icon means that your ad contains errors: not all required parameters are set or the values of some parameters are invalid. Hover over to find out where the error is. Learn more
Tip
To quickly create multiple ads with similar settings, click Add as many times as you need, then select all the created ads and make the same settings in the Inspector.
