How to set up interests and habits

By targeting your audience's short-term interests and habits, you can show relevant ads to people interested in your products or services right now or over the past few days. For example, you can selectively offer sales of airline tickets or summer clothing to people going on vacation. Ads based on short-term interests and habits are only served in ad networks.

Tip

Before making any changes, download up-to-date campaign data from the server.

To add interests and habits:

  1. In the Campaigns tab, select one or multiple campaigns.
  2. On the Ad groups tab, select one or multiple ad groups.
  3. In the Audience segments and interests tab, click AddInterests and habits. You can also add them by clicking Interests and habits in the Inspector.
  4. To define your audience or their interests, start typing a criterion and select the correct option from the drop-down list. You can specify up to 30 criteria — they will be combined by the "OR" operator.
  5. Click Apply.
