# How to change keyword case

You can use Direct Commander to quickly change case of one or more keywords. Changing the case does not affect how operators work and does not reset keyword statistics.

#### **Capitalize selected keywords**
 
:   Make each keyword start with a capital letter.
    
    Examples:
    
    #|
    ||
    **Original keywords** | **Result**
    ||
    ||
    _Trip to mars_
    
    _free trip to mars_
    |
    _Trip to Mars_
    
    _Free trip to mars_
    ||
    |#

#### **Capitalize all words in keywords**
 
:   Make each word in a keyword start with a capital letter.
    
    Examples:
    
    #|
    ||
    **Original keywords** | **Result**
    ||
    ||
    _Trip to mars_
    
    _free trip to mars_
    |
    _Trip To Mars_
    
    _FREE TRIP to Mars_
    ||
    |#

#### **Make all letters lowercase**
 
:   Make  lowercase all uppercase letters in the keyword.
    Examples:
    
    #|
    ||
    **Original keywords** | **Result**
    ||
    ||
    _Trip to mars_
    
    _FREE TRIP to Mars_
    |
    _Trip to mars_
    
    _free trip to mars_
    ||
    |#

#### **Make all letters uppercase**
 
:   Make uppercase all lowercase letters in the keyword.
    Examples:
    
    #|
    ||
    **Original keywords** | **Result**
    ||
    ||
    _Trip to mars_
    
    _FREE TRIP to Mars_
    |
    _TRIP TO MARS_
    
    _FREE TRIP TO MARS_
    ||
    |#

To change the keyword case:

1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or [multiple](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/getting-started/multiple-choice.md) campaigns.

1. On the **Ad groups** tab, select one or multiple ad groups.

1. Go to the **Keywords** tab. If you do not plan to change case in all keywords, but only for some of them, select the keywords.

1. Click **Edit** and select **Change keyword case** from the menu.

1. Select the operation to apply.

1. Choose the keywords to edit: selected keywords or all keywords.

1. Click the **Apply** button.
