# Editing tools

Before making any changes, [download](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/general/download.md) up-to-date campaign data from the server.

All changes are automatically saved on your computer.

For changes to take effect, [upload](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/general/upload.md) them to the server.

There are many ways to edit data in Direct Commander:

- Make changes directly on the tabs: double-click the field you want to edit and enter the value.

- Use batch editing tools to quickly change multiple objects at once:

If you made changes by mistake, you can [cancel](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/editing/undo.md) them prior to uploading to the server.
