# Export to file

You can export campaigns to XLSX or CSV files.

When exporting campaigns to a file, all groups, ads, and keywords of the selected campaigns are saved. However, campaign settings such as strategy, bid adjustments, and others, are not saved. We recommend manually configuring your settings in the campaign **Inspector** or via the [Yandex Direct web interface](https://direct.yandex.com/) after exporting your campaign.

{% note alert %}

Data from Direct Commander (rather than from the Yandex Direct server) is exported to the file:

- If you edited your campaign through the [web interface](https://direct.yandex.com/), but Direct Commander hasn't yet received these changes, the exported file will contain outdated information. We recommend that you [download](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/general/download.md#sync-campaign) campaign data from the server before exporting it to the file.

- If changes were made in Direct Commander, then the file will receive data with these changes, even if they haven't been sent to the server.
