# How to launch and stop ads, how to submit ads for moderation

To submit for moderation, launch, stop, archive, or unarchive individual ads:

1. In the **Campaigns** tab, select one or [multiple](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/getting-started/multiple-choice.md) campaigns.

1. On the **Ad groups** tab, select one or multiple ad groups.

1. In the **Ads** tab, select an ad or multiple ads.

    To display the archived ads, enable the **Show archived** option in the Inspector.

1. In the Inspector **Edit** section, select an action in the **State** field.

   Press **Ctrl** + **S** (**Cmd ⌘** + **S** on MacOS) or click the **Save** button at the bottom of Inspector.

1. To apply the state change, [upload](https://yandex.com/support/direct-commander-new/en/general/upload.md) the campaigns to the server (**All data** option).


## About stopping ads

- If you stopped an ad within an active campaign, you can resume its impressions by re-launching the ad.

- Ads that have been stopped for more than 30 days are automatically archived.
