# Logging in to Yandex Contest

The Yandex Contest platform supports two authorization methods: [Yandex ID](https://passport.yandex.com/) or using a username and password received from the contest organizers.

#### Logging in with Yandex ID
 
:   Use this method to participate in contests or practice on the Yandex Contest website.
    
    If you have a [Yandex account](https://yandex.com/support/passport/index.html) or [social media account](https://yandex.com/support/passport/social.html#social), on  [the main page of the platform](https://contest.yandex.com/) in the upper-right corner, click **Enter**, select the authorization method, and enter your username and password.
    
    If you don't have an account, go ahead and [register](https://passport.yandex.com/registration).

#### Logging in with a username and password received from the organizers
 
:   Separate login pages can be created for large competitions and contests that are not open to outside participants. If you are participating in a contest like that, the organizers need to give you the page address and the information needed for authorization on the platform.
    
    Go to the contest page, click **Log in** in the upper-right corner, and enter the username and password you received from the organizers.
