Mail protocols

Restriction. You need to have an email domain linked to your company if you want to use Yandex.Mail within Yandex.Connect.

If you want your employees to be able to use email applications with Mail, enable email protocol support. To learn more about setting up email applications, read Mail applications.

To set up an email protocol for use with email applications:

  1. Log in to Yandex.Connect as an administrator.
  2. Open the Mail settings page.

  3. Open the Settings tab.

  4. Go to the Use protocols section and enable the protocols you want your employees to use in mail clients.

    Note. A mail client can only access the user's mailbox if the correct protocol (POP3 or IMAP) is enabled in the mailbox settings. To learn more about setting up mail clients, see Yandex.Mail Help.
  5. Save the changes.
