You can transfer your existing mailboxes and their contents to Yandex.Connect, even if they are hosted on other servers (be it a private server or a public one, such as Mail.Ru, Gmail, etc.).
To import a mailbox, do the following:
Log in to Yandex.Connect as an administrator.
Go to the Yandex.Connect home page, find the Mail card, and click .
Click the Import mail tab.
Choose Mail.ru or Gmail if you want to import mailboxes hosted on these services. Server parameters for these services will be set up automatically.
You can configure a mail server manually by choosing Private server.
Specify your connection parameters:
Choose whether you want to use SSL encryption when sending emails.
- Specify your domain name or your email server's IP address.
Server port (e.g. 993).
Specify all the additional import parameters.
Specify email addresses and passwords using one of the following methods:
Enter the full mailbox address and its password. Specify the mailbox's owner in the Employee in Yandex.Connect field. If you leave the field empty, Yandex.Connect will create a new account with the same login and password the original mailbox has.
Upload a CSV file with logins and passwords. Enter your login and password in each line. Keep them in quotation marks and separated by a comma.
Yandex.Connect creates new employee accounts for each mailbox, carrying over logins and passwords from the original mailbox. If you want to create new accounts without re-using old logins and passwords, specify them in a CSV file:
"login_1", "password_1", "First_Name_1", "Last_Name_1", "new_login_1", " new_password_1"..."login_10", "password_10", "First_Name_10", "Last_Name_10", "new_login_10", " new_password_10"
Click Start mail importing.
