Change the primary domain

Tip. If you only wish to store email addresses on your new domain, you can simply add an alias domain without changing the primary one.

If you don't have access to your company's primary domain or don't want to use it, you can transfer the primary status to another domain instead.

  1. Step 1. Use the new domain as an alias domain
  2. Step 2. Make sure the DNS records for your new domain are configured correctly
  3. Step 3. Promote your new domain to primary domain
  4. Step 4. You can remove the previous primary domain if necessary.
