Mailbox aliases

Restriction. You can only add aliases to mailboxes hosted on your email domain.

Aliases are additional names of mailboxes. They allow you to assign up to 10 alternative addresses to one mailbox hosted on your domain. For example, you can add the advertising@ alias for an employee who manages advertising. After this, emails sent to the addresses advertising@example.org will be delivered to this employee's mailbox.

Each alias can only be associated with one employee. If you want to create a shared email address for multiple employees, you have to first group them into a team or a department.

If you simply delete an alias, emails sent to this alias will end up in the special mailbox specified in mail settings for your organization.
