Creating pages

Pages of the most common type can contain text, images, tables, attached files, and so on.

There are multiple ways to create a page:

Setting the page address manually

To create a new page:

  1. Click Create in the upper panel.

  2. Choose Page.

  3. Enter your page title.

  4. Set your page address.

The page address is chosen relative to your personal cluster. If you want to specify the address relative to the Wiki homepage, delete the ~/ symbols at the start of the line.

Tip. You can even enter URLs for pages that do not exist. For example, you can host a page at ~/foo/bar, even if there is no page at ~/foo.
  5. Click Create.

  6. Enter the page text and save your changes.

Creating cluster subpages

You can create a page in a specific cluster:

  1. Go to the cluster.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the page, select ... → Create subpage.

  3. Choose Page.

  4. Enter your title.

The Address field is filled in automatically. You can edit the address if necessary. The !/ symbols at the start of the row indicate that the address is relative to the current cluster.

  5. Click Create.

  6. Enter the page text and save your changes.
