Change the basic queue settings

Restriction. By default, queue settings can only be accessed by the queue owner.

To configure the main queue settings:

  1. Open the queue page.

  2. To the left of the queue name, select  → Admin.

  3. On the Basic settings tab, you can set:

    • Queue description — Any description of the queue. The description is displayed on the queue page on the Description tab.

    • Default priority.

    • Voting in issues — You can disable upvoting for issues in the queue.

    • Advanced settings:

      • Required fields for the queue — Issue fields that are always displayed on the issue page, regardless of user settings.

      • Fields in notifications — Issue fields that will be shown in all notifications about issues in the queue.

      • Allow emails to be sent externally (beta) — Users can send emails to any address directly from the issue page. The message text is attached to the task as a comment.

  4. Click Save.
