I can't attach a file

Update the page by clicking Ctrl+F5 and try to attach the file again. If this doesn't solve the problem, clear the browser cache, delete all cookie files and then repeat the action.

Yandex.Mail may not work properly due to certain browser extensions or add-ons. You can temporarily disable them to determine if this is the case. If ad blockers or antivirus extensions are causing problems with Yandex.Mail, then you can add the Mail page to the list of exceptions for that particular extension.

I can't attach certain files in Internet Explorer
  1. Make sure that you have the latest version of Adobe Flash Player installed. Open the page for downloading the module. If the version on your computer differs from the latest one, you will see the button Install now in the right part of the page. Click it to update the module.
  2. Disable any proxy server that you are using.

I get email without attachments

If you receive email without attachments and you are sure that the sender included them in their letter, the sender probably uses Microsoft Outlook. Files sent from Outlook are placed in a non-standard wrapper: winmail.dat format. Files sent in this format can't be read in the Yandex.Mail web interface. Ask the sender to attach the file in the web interface or to upload it to Yandex.Drive and share the link.
