Email export
You can download all messages from Yandex.Mail using any of a number of popular email applications:
- Install and configure the application using the general instructions or per the instructions for Microsoft Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, The Bat!, Opera Mail, Apple Mail.
- Export messages by following the instructions for your email client:
- Open the File tab.
- Select in the menu.
- Click Export to a file.
- If, after exporting your messages, you want to import them to another inbox using Outlook, choose Outlook data file (.pst). If you're going to use a different application — Comma Separated Values (Windows).
- Click Next.
- Select the account from which you want to export messages.
- Enable the Include subfolders option to export your email messages, contacts, and calendar.
- Click Next.
- Click the Browse button and select a folder to export to. Enter the file name and click OK.Note. If you have already exported messages, you will see the previous folder and file name here. Enter a new file name or select a different folder.
- Click Done.
- Open the menu.
- Then look for Profile folder in the About block and click Show folder.
- Close Mozilla Thunderbird.
- Copy the contents of your profile folder and paste them where you want to save your messages.
- Open the menu menu.
- Select your preferred export format: Message files (.MSG), Message files (.EML), UNIX Mailbox.
- Complete the export process.
- Select the inbox for export in the left-hand menu.
- Open the menu.
- Select a folder for export and click Choose.Note. Apple Mail exports mailboxes as packages with the MBOX extension. If you have already exported a mailbox, the application will not replace the existing MBOX file, and will instead create a new one with a different name.

Right click on the Received filter and select Export.
Note. Every application exports message to a file of a specific format. If you want to import messages into a different inbox after exporting them, use the same email application for import as you used for export.
