How to copy a message from the error console

If there was a problem loading pages or working with the interactive elements of the site, you can use the browser console to help identify the reason for the error. Follow the instructions below to copy a message from the error console and send it to the Support service. Choose the browser where the problem occurs:

Yandex Browser

  1. To open the error console, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + J.
    Alternative method

    Open the menu  → Advanced → More Tools → JavaScript console.

    Or right-click anywhere on the page, choose Inspect element, and go to the Console tab.

  2. Select Errors next to Filter.
  3. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.
  4. If error messages appeared in the Console, expand the window to full screen (click the icon) and take a screenshot of it.

Google Chrome

  1. To open the error console, use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Shift + J.

  1. Activate the error console. To do this, click the Opera button in the upper-left corner and choose Advanced → Show Develop menu.

  4. Select Errors next to Filter.
  5. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.

  3. Make sure that all the filters (“Network”, “CSS”, “JS”, “Security”, “Log”, “Server”) only have one item selected: Errors. To do this, click the icon next to each filter.

  4. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.

Firebug

The Firebug extension for Mozilla Firefox has enhanced capabilities compared to the built-in error console. If you are using Firebug, follow these instructions:

  1. To open the Firebug console, click the icon in the upper-right corner of the screen.
  2. Go to the Console tab.
  3. Make sure that all the filters (“Network”, “CSS”, “JS”, “Security”, “Log”, “Server”) only have one item selected: Errors. To do this, click the icon next to each filter.
    Attention. If you click the filter name instead of the icon, error checking will be disabled.
  4. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.
  5. If error messages appeared in the Console, expand the window to full screen (click the icon) and take a screenshot of it.

Edge

  3. Right-click anywhere in the console and deselect the options Warnings, Messages, and Log. Leave just Errors selected.
  4. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.
  5. If error messages appeared on the Console tab, right-click anywhere in the column on the right and choose Copy all.

Internet Explorer

  1. To open the error console, press F12 or choose Developer tools in the menu.
    Alternative method

    Right-click anywhere on the screen and choose Inspect element.

  2. Go to the Console tab.
  3. Right-click anywhere in the console and deselect the options Warnings, Messages, and Log. Leave just Errors selected.
  4. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.
  5. If messages appeared in the console, right-click anywhere in the column on the right and choose Copy all.

Safari

  1. Activate the error console. To do this, open the menu Safari → Settings → Extensions and select the option Show the Develop menu in the menubar.
  2. To open the error console, use the keyboard shortcut  +  + C or choose Develop → Show error console.
  3. Go to the Console tab and enable the Errors filter.
  4. Refresh the page or repeat the actions that lead to the error.
  5. If error messages appeared on the Console tab, expand the window to full screen and take a screenshot of it.
