Ad blockers

Ad block extensions (such as Adblock Plus, AdGuard, and uBlock Origin) may prevent Yandex services from working properly. For example, the email won't open, the search bar may disappear, or images don't load. If you're using an ad blocker, configure it to allow Yandex.

Adblock Plus

Yandex Browser, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Opera

In the extension menu

  1. To disable Adblock Plus on all Yandex pages, go to the Yandex Home page.
    To disable the extension for a particular Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com), open this service.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the browser, click .

  3. In the Protection is enabled block, click .

In the extension settings
  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser, click .
  2. In the window that opens, click .
  3. Go to the Allowlist tab.
  4. Enter the address of Yandex (yandex.com) or a Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com) and click Add website.
  5. Go back to Yandex or the service's home page and refresh it.

Note

If the setting for the service is reset, add the entire Yandex to the Adblock Plus exceptions (yandex.com).

Safari

In the extension menu

  1. To disable Adblock Plus on all Yandex pages, go to the Yandex Home page.
    To disable the extension for a particular Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com), open this service.

  2. In the upper part of the browser window, click and disable the Block ads on this website option.

In the extension settings
  1. In the upper part of the browser window, click .
  2. In the window that opens, click Open Adblock Plus.
  3. Go to the Allowlist tab.
  4. Enter the address of Yandex (yandex.com) or a Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com) and click Add website.
  5. Go back to Yandex or the service's home page and refresh it.

Note

If the setting for the service is reset, add the entire Yandex to the Adblock Plus exceptions (yandex.com).

AdGuard
Yandex Browser, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Opera

  1. To disable AdGuard for all Yandex pages, go to the Yandex Home page.
    To disable the extension for a particular Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com), open this service.

  2. Click the icon and set the option to .

Safari

  1. To disable AdGuard for all Yandex pages, go to the Yandex Home page.
    To disable the extension for a particular Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com), open this service.

  2. Click the icon and disable the Protection is enabled option.

uBlock Origin

Yandex Browser, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge, and Opera

In the extension menu

  1. To disable uBlock Origin for all Yandex pages, go to the Yandex Home page.
    To disable the extension for a particular Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com), open this service.

  2. In the upper-right corner of the browser, click .

  3. Click .

In the extension settings
  1. In the upper-right corner of the browser, click .
  2. In the window that opens, click .
  3. Go to the Trusted Sites tab.
  4. Enter the address of Yandex (yandex.com) or a Yandex service (for example, mail.yandex.com) on a new line and click Apply Changes.
  5. Go back to Yandex or the service's home page and refresh it.

Note

If the setting for the service is reset, add the entire Yandex to the uBlock Origin exceptions (yandex.com).
