# Site exceptions

To keep your data safe, browsers have rules for how site elements and plugins work (for example, they can block pop-up windows). If these rules are causing issues, add an exception. For example, you can allow Yandex Maps to automatically determine your location, while other sites will continue to ask for your permission.
