Using Yandex.Calendar on your mobile device

To use Yandex.Calendar on your mobile device, download the calendar app or visit the mobile site.

Select your OS:

Choose a section:

To access the Yandex.Calendar mobile website, type the following address in the address bar of your mobile browser: calendar.yandex.ru.

  1. Install the Yandex.Mail app.
  2. Log in to the app.
  3. To open Yandex.Calendar, tap under the list of emails or use the quick start via the app icon on the home screen.

Step 1. Create an app password
  1. Open Account management in Yandex ID.
  2. Go to Passwords and authorization and click Enable app passwords. Confirm the action.
  3. Click Create new password.
  4. Select the Calendar app type and create a name for the password. For example, enter the name of the app you're creating a password for. This will be the name of this password in the list.
  5. Click Create. You'll see the app password in the pop-up window.
    Restriction. You can only see the password that you created once. If you entered it incorrectly and closed the window, delete the current password and create a new one.
Step 2. Configure the app for syncing
  1. Download and install an app that supports the CalDAV protocol, for example, DAVx5 (this is a paid app).
    Note. The following instructions apply to the DAVx5 app. Some steps may differ in other apps.
  2. Open the app and tap in the lower-right corner.
  3. In the Add account list, select Login with URL and user name.
  4. Specify the following parameters:
    • Base URL: caldav.yandex.ru
    • Username: your_login@yandex.ru
    • Password: the app password created in the previous step
  5. Tap Log in → Create account.
  6. On the CALDAV tab, select the calendars that you want to sync with your mobile device. Now, you can see them in the Calendar system app. You can also create events in these calendars.

If the Calendar won't sync with your mobile device, contact us. Your message should contain the following information:

  • The link to the calendar
  • Screenshots showing the settings of the program you're using for syncing
  • A screenshot of the error message
  • The device model and its operating system

  1. Install the Yandex.Mail app.

Step 1. Create an app password
  1. Open Account management in Yandex ID.
  2. Go to Passwords and authorization and click Enable app passwords. Confirm the action.

Step 2. Set up syncing with your device
  1. Go to Settings → Accounts and passwords.
  2. Tap Add account.
  3. In the list, select Other → CalDAV account.
    Attention. Don't confuse CalDAV with CardDAV: the latter is needed for searching for contacts.
  4. Add an account by filling out the following information:
    • Server: caldav.yandex.ru
    • Username: your_login@yandex.ru
    • Password: the app password created in the previous step
If syncing is not working, check the advanced settings:
  • SSL: Yes

  • Port: 443

  • Account URL: https://caldav.yandex.ru/principals/users/your username@yandex.ru/

If the Calendar won't sync with your mobile device, contact us. Your message should contain the following information:

  • Screenshots showing the settings of the program you're using for syncing
  • A screenshot of the error message
