Yandex.Calendar for desktop

You can sync Yandex.Calendar with another calendar app on your computer and view and edit your Yandex.Calendar meetings in that app. Changes made in other apps will be reflected in Yandex.Calendar when you connect to the internet.

Calendars are synced via the CalDAV protocol.

What program do you want to configure your calendar in?

Microsoft Outlook doesn't support built-in CalDAV syncing. But you can use the CalDAVSynchronizer plug-in for Outlook.

  1. Download and install the plug-in.
  2. Open MS Outlook.
  3. Go to the CalDav Synchronizer tab.
  4. Click Syncronization Profiles.
  5. Click the + icon to add a new sync profile. Select Yandex in the list. Enter your profile name.
  6. Create a profile folder:
    1. Find the Outlook folder field and click the ... button.
    2. Click Create.
    3. Enter a folder name and in the Folder contains list select Calendar Items. Click OK.
    4. Click OK.
  7. Enter the following information:
    • Dav url: paste the address from the calendar settings:
      1. In the left-hand panel, select the calendar you want to use on your computer.
      2. Hover your mouse over the calendar name and click the icon.
      3. Go to the Export tab.
      4. Copy the address from the CalDAV field.
    • Username: your login@yandex.ru
    • Password: your password (or the app password if you have two-factor authentication enabled)
  8. Click Test or discover settings to check your synchronization.
  9. Click OK.

Wait a while after the setup for syncing to start. You can also enable syncing manually. Click Synchronize now to start syncing.

  1. Download and install Mozilla Thunderbird.
  2. In the Home tab, click Create a new calendar.
  3. Select On the Network and click Next.
  4. Select CalDAV. Paste the address from the calendar settings into the Location field:
    1. In the left-hand panel, select the calendar you want to use on your computer.
    2. Hover your mouse over the calendar name and click the icon.
    3. Go to the Export tab.
    4. Copy the address from the CalDAV field.
    Disable the Offline Support option. Click Next.
  5. Enter a calendar name, choose a color and leave the other options as default.
  6. When the Authentication is required pop-up window appears, enter your account settings:
    • Username: your login@yandex.ru
    • Password: your password (or the app password if you have two-factor authentication enabled)
  7. Click Finish.
  8. To open the tab with the calendar, click in the upper right corner.

On macOS, you can set up syncing in the Calendar program:

  1. Open Calendar → Add account.
  2. Choose Another CalDAV account and click Continue.
  3. Enter your email address (use the format your login@yandex.ru) and Yandex password.
    Note. If you have two-factor authentication enabled, use the app password instead of your regular password.
  4. Enter the following information:

  6. Make sure that the account appeared in the calender list and then change your settings.
