Company information
The more information you provide, the easier it is for potential customers to find your company. If all the required sections in the profile are filled in, the special “Verified” icon appears.
While changes undergo moderation, you'll see this message: “Thank you for updating information about this organization. Your submission is currently visible to you and will be visible to other users after it passes moderation”.
The changes will take effect once they are verified. Moderation in Yandex Business and in Yandex Maps takes three days, and moderation in the address snippet for Yandex search results takes up to a week.
In addition to the business owner, all Yandex Maps users can send a request to change information about a business using the Edit information button. If a user creates a change request, the business owner receives a message about it and can confirm or reject the edit on the Changes page.
Log in to the account
To change the company information, log in to your Yandex Business account:
Log in to Yandex ID.
If you don't have an account, go to the registration page and fill out the form.
Open the Yandex Business page.
Name and short name
To change the name:
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
Go to the Name in different languages section. Here you can enter the business's name and short name and select additional languages.
For the new name to pass moderation, it must meet the following requirements.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
If your business has rebranded, then in addition to the name, you also need to change the logo and photos that display the old name.
Changing the name alone is not enough in the event of rebranding because the branch left the chain. You need to create a new company profile.
Address and location
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
Go to the Location and entrances section.
- Enter the new address or select the point on the map your customers can visit.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Yandex Business doesn't accept the following for publication in Yandex Maps:
- Addresses of rental properties (apartments, private houses).
- Online stores that have no street address or are registered at the owner's place of residence.
You can add online stores without a street address as online businesses.
To change the address, specify the location, or add an entrance, choose the type of edit in the Location and entrances section:
Moving means changing the address within one locality.
- The company moves to another city.
- The company changes its name or business category along with the address.
- The company's business category is included in the List of business categories without the possibility of moving.
In these cases, instead of moving, you need to create a new profile.
If your business is moving, select Moving. Change the address or move the placemark on the map to the new location and add an entrance. If you want to keep the photos and reviews at the old address, uncheck the appropriate checkboxes. Check the information and click Save changes. The company profile at the new address is created automatically.
The business at the old address will be shown with the “Moved” status in Yandex Maps. You can't change the information in the profile for the old address.
If the company address hasn't changed, but the business has moved to a different location in the same building, select Edit address. Edit the information, add an entrance, and click Save changes. The company profile will be updated.
If the building where your company is located is large and has multiple entrances, mark your entrance on the map to make it easier for customers to find you. To do this, click Edit entrances in the lower-right corner of the mini-map.
If you can't edit an address or entrance, use the feedback form.
To add new regions or change the service area:
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
Go to the Service area section.
- Select the regions from the list or set a radius around a point with a specific address. The radius value can only be an integer no more than 10,000 km.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
If an online business receives a street address:
- In your personal account, select the business.
In the Activate useful services section on the right, select You'll appear in Yandex Maps.
- Create a request using the form.
After the address is changed, we'll ask you to confirm the new address.
Status
If you want to inform users that your business is temporarily closed, change its status:
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
Go to the Business hours section and select the status.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
The status of the business will change after the data is checked.
Business category
To add a business category:
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
- Under Category, add or change:
Main category
There can be only one main category.
Select the main category from the list or start typing the first letters in the input field.
Secondary categories
There can be no more than two secondary categories.
Select the secondary category from the list or start typing the first letters in the input field.
If two secondary categories have already been added and you need to make changes, first delete one of them.
- Click Save data at the bottom of the page.
In the Services and requisites section, add parameters for the selected business categories. For example: parking, average bill, free Wi-Fi, or card payment.
Business hours and holidays
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the menu on the left, go to.
You can set the business hours in the Business hours section. Adjust the intervals using the Weekdays, Every day, 24/7, Weekends, and Break buttons.
You can set a holiday or day off without changing the general company schedule. In the Holidays and non-business days section, click Add business hours, select a date, and set business hours, or check the Day off option if the company won't be working on that day. Holidays will be displayed in the company profile starting from the Monday of the week the holidays fall on.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Contact details
- On the Businesses page, click the link in the company name.
- In the left-side menu, go to:
- In the Website and social media section, add:
Website addresses: A link to your main website or your Yandex Business website and one or two links to additional websites.
Position the website that would attract the most customers first. After that, you can specify additional websites. They will be displayed in the drop-down list.
Note. Your profile can contain no more than three websites: a link to the main website and up to two links to additional websites.Social media pages: A username or phone number linked to your social media profile.
Note. Telegram is a social network, not a messenger.Messengers.

In the Phones section, add phone numbers:
- A phone number, extension, and description.
- Phone numbers used in Viber and WhatsApp.
- In the Email section, add the email address.
- Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.
Services and requisites
In this section, you can provide additional information about your company. These details are shown in the Services and requisites and About the place sections, as well as in the photoPOI and captions. The more information you provide on this tab, the more convenient it is for your customers.
To add information to this section, click Show all or the name of any subsection.
Basic
In this section, you can provide general information about your business, such as the following details:
- Currency
- Parking
- Wi-Fi
- Pet-friendly
- Legal information
Legal information (requisites) of your business isn't shown in Yandex Maps.
If your company's requisites or other basic details have changed, update them in this section and click Save changes.
Business category-specific details
In this section, you can provide information related to your company's business category. For example, if your business is a store or cafe, you can include the following information:
- Delivery
- Payment method
- Coffee to go
- Deals
Accessibility
If your company has an accessible environment for people with disabilities, you can include the following information:
- Accessible parking
- Wheelchair access
- Automatic door
- Accessible toilet
"About the place" and display options in Yandex Maps
Yandex Business automatically determines whether to display the About the place section, photoPOI, and text in the company profile.

The neural network generates a series of stories about the company that help users make a choice. Information is collected from reviews, photos, and videos received from Yandex Maps users.

PhotoPOI is a placemark on the map with a photo of the object. The photo is selected automatically. PhotoPOI make companies more visible on the map and help Yandex Maps users figure out what the place looks like fast.

You can manage visibility of About the place, photoPOI, and text if these features are available for your business:
- In your account, go to.
- Scroll down to the control tools:

- Don't show captions at my organization
- Don't show photoPOI at my organization
- Enable or disable the options using the Yes and No buttons. The information in Yandex Maps will be updated within a day.
