Create a chain

Requirements for combining branches

Two or more branches can be combined into a chain if all of the following conditions are met for every branch:

  • All branches share the same name, which must comply with our service's guidelines.

  • At least one business category is shared across all branches.

For example, businesses listed under Banks, ATMs and Payment kiosks cannot be combined into a single chain.

    Warning

Some business categories have special conditions and restrictions. For more information, see Features of some business categories.

  • All branches are in the same country.

If a chain has branches in different countries, a separate chain must be created for each country.

  • All branches share a website or phone number.

  • The chain's website shows the addresses of all branches.

If the chain doesn't have a website, all branch cards should contain a common phone number.

Alert

Dealers and company representatives cannot be added to a chain unless they are official branches of the company.

Chain with a regional filter

Separate chains cannot be created for different regions within the same country, but ownership of a chain can be claimed with a regional filter applied. For example, large national chains use this to delegate branch management to regional representatives.

The account displays the profile for the relevant region, allowing changes to be made to branches in that region.
