Business category

You can enter up to three business categories in the company profile. Secondary services provided by a business should not be chosen as its business category.
Examples
- If a hotel has a swimming pool, you shouldn't choose Swimming pool as a business category. The pool should be mentioned in the Services and requisites tab, with Hotel selected as the company's business category. For more information, see Hotels and other accommodation.
- If a cafe or restaurant also delivers food, Food delivery should not be an independent business category. This service should be selected as an option in the Services and requisites tab.
- If your business category is a Beauty salon, don't specify individual cosmetic services in the profile. Instead, select these services as options in the Services and requisites tab.
- If your business category is Centers of state and municipal services, it can't be combined with Photography. Instead, you can create a separate profile with the Photography business category.

Personal profiles of specialists who work for businesses listed in Yandex Business cannot be published.

Companies engaged in illegal activities cannot be published.

Events with fixed dates are banned from publishing.

In certain cases, we may request the number or a scanned copy of the license to verify the company's activity type. For example, this may be required for medical organizations. For more information, see Medical services.
The sections below describe considerations for certain business categories.
Business center
If you selected the Business center category, you can't specify other categories in the profile.
Phone numbers, websites, and working hours won't be published in a profile of a company with the Business center category.
Vending machines
If your business category is Vending machines, you can combine it with the following business categories:
- Ticket machine
- Vending machine
- Coffee machine
- Food vending machine
- Transport ticket machine
Medical services
When verifying medical organizations, we may request the number or a scanned copy of the license for medical activities.

Hotels and other accommodation
If the company profile includes one of the following business categories, you can't list additional categories:
- Farmstead
- Lodge, holiday home
- Glamping
- Guest house
- Hotel
- Children's recreation camp
- Daily housing
- Camping
- Dormitory
- Farm retreat
- Health retreat
- Camp site
- Hostel
List additional business categories in the Services and requisites tab. If the service (cafe, sauna, restaurant, and so on) is available to everyone rather than just hotel guests, you can create a separate profile for it.
Pickup point
Businesses in the Pickup point category can't have additional business categories.
List the addresses of the online store's own and partner pickup points in the profile.
Partner pickup points are published in separate profiles under their own names if they are indicated on the websites of the corresponding online stores and marketplaces.
Requirements for businesses:
- The pickup point can't be located at the address of a branded transport company pickup point.
- There should be a sign or sticker of the corresponding online store or marketplace at the pickup point.
Restaurant and Fast food
You can't combine the Restaurant and Fast food business categories.
Sports clubs, courses, and other places for learning and sports
Companies with certain business categories can rent premises in other facilities. For example:
- Sports club
- Driving school
- Educational center
- Foreign language courses
- School for pregnant women
You can place a company that rents premises if all the conditions are met:
- The classes are regular and there's a persistent schedule.
- The training location (sports complex, school, swimming pool, and so on) has something on display that confirms collaboration (a stand, a sticker, or a QR code).
- The sports club has an official website or social media page with listed training locations.
If the company operates in multiple locations, you can create a chain.
If there are no visual or online confirmations, the company is considered an online business.
Erotic massage
If your business category is Erotic massage, you can combine it only with Dating service and Strip club. You can't combine Erotic massage with other business categories.
