Mouse gestures

Mouse gestures are enabled by default in the settings. Hold down the right mouse button to perform gestures. Then release the button after you complete the gesture.

Note. You can not customize mouse gestures in the browser.

Mouse gestures

Attention. If you are using a one-button mouse in Mac OS, you need to perform all gestures by holding down the Ctrl key and the mouse button.

ZoomIncrease page zoom

Press Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel forward.

Decrease page zoom

Press Ctrl and scroll the mouse wheel back (Windows only).

Disable gestures

To disable mouse gestures:

  1. Click   → Settings.
  2. At the bottom of the Settings page, click Show advanced settings.
  3. Uncheck the option in the Mouse gestures section.
Note. Mac OS users can't turn off right and left scrolling because these gestures are part of the operating system.

The mouse pointer freezes during online gaming

When you are playing certain games in Yandex.Browser, your pointer may freeze when you press mouse buttons. If this happens, try disabling mouse gestures:

  1. Click   → Settings.
  2. At the bottom of the Settings page, click Show advanced settings.
  3. Uncheck the option in the Mouse gestures section.
