Delete browser data
Some data is saved in the browser for your convenience. For example, passwords you entered, autofill data, search terms, and addresses of visited sites. There are two options for protecting your anonymity in the browser:
- Before you visit a site. If you want to keep your search terms and viewing history private, use Incognito mode and follow the general recommendations for protecting your personal information.
- After you visit a site. If you didn't use Incognito mode and your data was saved in the browser, you can delete it.
Attention.
- It's not effective to delete your data after you visit a site, since a hacker might steal it during your visit.
- If you delete your data, you risk losing information that you might need (such as passwords).
