How can I clear the cache?

To clear the cache:

  1. Click   → Advanced → Clear history.
  2. In the Delete the following items list, select the time range to delete the cache for.
  3. Select the cached files option.
  4. Turn off all the other options (if you only want to delete the browser cache).
  5. Click Clear browsing data.
Tip. To open the Clear browsing data window, use the keyboard shortcutCtrl + Shift + Del (Windows) or Shift + + Backspace (Mac OS).

How do I open an incognito window?

In Incognito mode, the browser does not save passwords you enter, search queries, or the addresses of visited sites. However, any changes to settings, downloaded files, and created bookmarks are saved.

To open a window in Incognito mode, use:

  • Menu command: click   → Incognito mode.
  • Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + N (Windows) or  + Shift + N (Mac OS).

How can I save my passwords?

Note. By default, passwords are saved in the browser.

To make the browser offer to save your passwords:

  1. Click   → Settings.
  2. In the lower half of the Settings page, click Show advanced settings.
  3. In the Passwords and forms section, select the Offer to save passwords option.

How do I create a new browser profile?

A personal profile is a personalized set of browser settings: the browser appearance, bookmarks, history, passwords, Autofill forms, and installed extensions and plugins.

To create your profile:

  1. Click   → Settings.
  2. In the User profiles section, click Add a profile.
  3. Choose a profile icon.
  4. Set a profile name.
  5. If necessary, turn off the option Create a desktop shortcut for this user.
  6. Click Add.

How can I save my profile data?

You can store your profile data on the server, or locally on your computer.

  • On the server. Sync the browser.
  • On a local computer. Copy the data from the browser profile directory to any convenient location on your computer. To open the browser profile directory:

    Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10

    1. Open the file search field in Windows.
    2. Copy the line

      [%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Yandex\YandexBrowser\User Data\Default\] (without the brackets)

      and paste it into the file search box.

    3. Press Enter.

    1. Open Finder.
