# Notes



[Yandex Notes](https://disk.yandex.com/notes/) is a [web application](https://yandex.com/support/browser/en/personalization/web-app.md) for saving ideas, links, to-do lists, and any other important information in one place.

## Using Yandex Notes {#work}

To access Yandex Notes, click the ![](../_image/notes-sidebar-icon.svg) icon in the [side panel](https://yandex.com/support/browser/en/personalization/sidebar.md). If you don't see the icon, add it:

1. Click ![](../_image/app-menu.svg) on the side panel.
1. In the **Yandex 360** section, right-click **Yandex Notes**.
1. Select **Install application**.

- To **create a note**, click **New note** in the upper-left corner of the screen. When writing a note, use the following icons:

  - ![](../_image/text-bold-icon.svg), ![](../_image/text-italic-icon.svg), ![](../_image/text-underlined-icon.svg), ![](../_image/text-crossed-out-icon.svg) — to highlight text.
  - ![](../_image/text-bullet-icon.svg) — to create a bulleted list.
  - ![](../_image/attach.svg) — to add a photo or GIF to your note.

- To **pin a note**, click ![](../_image/pin-note.svg) in the upper-right corner. Your note will be pinned to the top of the list.
- To **delete a note**, click ![](../_image/basket-editor.svgg) in the upper-right corner and confirm the deletion.


## Note settings {#settings}

#### Remove the icon from the side panel

1. Click **![](../_image/sidebar-menu.svg)** → **Applications** in the side panel.
1. Deselect **Yandex Notes**.
