Save a bank card

When you enter your bank card details in Yandex Browser for the first time, the browser asks whether you want to save this information and use it for autofilling online payment forms in the future.

To save bank card data manually:

  1. Tap   → Bank cards.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Tap Add in the upper-right corner.
  4. Enter the card number, expiration date, and the cardholder's name (optional).
  5. Tap Finish.

Where can I pay?

  • In online stores that are integrated with Yandex Checkout.

How is my data protected?

Your data is protected by the PCI DSS standard developed by VISA and MasterCard.

AES-256-GCM encryption is applied with a key used for password encryption. For better protection, create a master password. A key protected with a master password is almost impossible to decipher.

Can any online stores or other online payment recipients access my card data?

No.

Yes, just like when you enter your card details manually.

View card data

  1. Tap   → Bank cards.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Tap the card you want to use.

Change bank card data

  1. Tap   → Bank cards.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Tap the card you want to use.
  4. Change the card number, expiration date, or the cardholder's name.
  5. Tap Finish.

Delete a bank card

  1. Tap   → Bank cards.
  2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.
  3. Tap the card you want to use.
  4. Tap Delete card.
  5. Confirm deletion.

Card syncing

For security reasons, card data is only synced if you're using a master password. Card data is securely protected during synchronization.

Card syncing will be disabled if syncing is fully disabled. To disable only password and card syncing:

  1. Tap   → .
  2. Select Syncing.
  3. Disable the Passwords and cards option.

Disable the card manager

Note. Even if you disable the card manager on your smartphone, it remains active on other devices.
  1. Tap   → .
  2. Under Passwords and cards, tap Settings.
  3. Disable the Bank card manager option.

The browser will no longer suggest bank card details in payment forms or offer to save cards. The card details you entered earlier will remain encrypted on your smartphone. You'll be able to access them when you re-enable the bank card manager.

To do this, enable the Bank card manager option in the settings.
