# Watermelon Picker

_Yandex Camera_ can help you select a ripe watermelon. Using computer vision, the Yandex Camera analyzes the dark and light green stripes, evaluates the yellow spot on the side, and determines how ripe the watermelon is.

- Take a photo

  1. Go to [yandex.com](https://yandex.com) on your mobile device.
  1. On the home screen, tap ![](../_assets/watermelon.png) **Watermelon Picker**.
  1. Take a photo of the watermelon. If there is a yellow spot on the side, make sure it's in the frame. The Yandex Camera will analyze the ripeness of the watermelon in the photo and display the results on a scale.

  1. Tap **Try again** to check the ripeness of another watermelon.

- Select a photo from the Gallery

  1. Go to [yandex.com](https://yandex.com) on your mobile device.
  1. On the home screen, tap ![](../_assets/watermelon.png) **Watermelon Picker**.
  1. Select a photo of a watermelon from your gallery.
  1. The Yandex Camera will analyze the ripeness of the watermelon in the photo and display the results on a scale.

  1. Tap **Try again** to check the ripeness of another watermelon.
