Filter out annoying ads

Yandex Browser for Mobile blocks intrusive ads by default.

Which ads are considered intrusive?

Yandex Browser filters intrusive ad formats so you can disable them in the settings.

• A fullscreen banner that appears immediately after the page loads. You can close the banner after a countdown, or it closes automatically.
• Fullscreen banners that appear after you have been on the site for a certain amount of time. May be closed immediately or after a countdown.
• Video ads with sound that play automatically.

Report an ad

1. Tap  → Ad blocking.

2. Tap Report ads.

The report about the ad will be sent to Yandex. If many similar complaints are submitted, Yandex may block the ad source for all users.

Enable ads on a website

1. Tap  → Ad blocking.

2. Tap Unblock ads.

To block ads on a website again, tap Block ads.

Disable ad filtration

1. On the bottom panel, tap  → .

2. Under Content blocking, tap Ad blocking.

3. Disable Intrusive ads.

Blocking popup windows

Sometimes popup windows are necessary for a website to work properly. However, they often clutter the screen and are used for banner ads. You can allow or block popup windows in the settings:
