# Tabs


## Where are my tabs?{#where}

In the lower-right lower-left corner, tap the icon with the number of tabs (![](../_assets/tabs-3.png =22x)<!--![](../_assets/navigation-icon-lite.png =22x)--> if three tabs are open).

A list of all open tabs in Yandex Browser for Mobile will open.


## Open a page in a new tab{#open}

1. Tap and hold the page link.
1. In the context menu, tap:
    - **Open in new tab** to go to the link on a new tab.
    - **Open in background** to open the link on a new tab but stay on the current tab.
    

To switch to a tab that's opened in the background, tap the icon with the number of tabs (![](../_assets/tabs-3.png =22x) if three tabs are open) and select a tab.




## New tab{#create}

If you don't use your smartphone for a few hours and then turn it back on, Yandex Browser displays the tabs that were open earlier. If you want to always open a new tab screen after you re-open Yandex Browser, tap ![](../_assets/settings-iphone-icon.png =22x)&nbsp;→ ![](../_assets/chat-global-settings-icon.png =22x)&nbsp;→ **More settings** and enable the **Start from the new tab**.

  1. Enter a query or website address in the [SmartBox](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-iphone/en/navigation/search.md). Or select a site on the [Tableau](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-iphone/en/personal-settings/tableau.md).

## Closing tabs{#closed-tab}

2\. Press and hold the ![](../_assets/close-tab-icon-lite.png =22x) icon in the top right corner of the tab.

3\. In the menu that appears, tap **Close all tabs**.

## Tabs on other devices{#tabs-devices}

After syncing, Yandex Browser displays tabs that are open on a computer, tablet, or smartphone and [added to the cloud](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-iphone/en/navigation/tab-groups.md#actions).

**View tabs left open on other devices**



1. On the bottom panel, tap ![](../_assets/new-tab-icon.png =22x).
1. At the center top of the screen, tap **iPhone 11** (if you have iPhone 11) or the name of the tab group.

    A list of all available groups and tabs will open:
    - at the top of the list there are the window tabs of your other devices.
    - below the separator — tab groups:

![](../_assets/not-sync-groupsoftabs.png =22x) – local groups from this device.
    
1. Select the tabs of the desired device: **computer**, **tablet** or **phone**.
