Import data from browsers

Enable syncing on your mobile device:

Tap
→
→ Enable syncing. -
Enter your username and password or select an account from the list.
Note
If you aren't registered on Yandex, you can't enable syncing, because the server stores data in Yandex ID. To register, tap Registration and fill out the account data.

Tap Log in.
To access the list of synced data, tap

→ Syncing. -

Install Yandex Browser for desktop.

Enable syncing and specify which data you want to sync.

Import data from another browser.
You can import data directly from the browsers specified in your Yandex Browser settings.
Alert
You will not be able to import data from Google Chrome if you’ve enabled data encryption in it.
If your browser is not in the settings but can save data in an HTML file with bookmarks, transfer the data via this file. Before starting data import, save your data to an HTML file. See your browser’s help for how to do this.

Click
→ Settings. -
In the General settings section, go to the Syncing section and click Import data.

Select one of the browsers or the HTML file with bookmarks.

Specify which data you want to import:
- History;
- Bookmarks;
- Passwords;
- Search engines;
- Recently opened tabs;
- System settings.

Click Import.
After copying is complete, the data will sync and soon appear in Yandex Browser for Mobile.
