Search options
Use the SmartBox, voice search, and page search. In Yandex Browser for Mobile, you can also search for information using images.
Note
You can enable family search to make sure there's no inappropriate content in search results. To learn more, see the Filter adult content section in FAQ about Yandex Search.
SmartBox
The SmartBox is the main element in Yandex Browser that you use to enter site addresses and search for information. The SmartBox is found in the upper part of the browser.
- Enter a search query or go to a website:

Use the SmartBox to enter search terms, a URL, or the name of a website (you can use your voice or the keyboard to enter searches).

Tap the enter button on the virtual keyboard.
Yandex Browser automatically detects whether to show you a website or search results.
