Wallet and cards

The Bank card manager in Yandex Browser for mobile enables you to manage your bank cards.

To view information about cards, tap → Wallet and cards.

The Wallet and cards section displays:

• Cards on this device: Cards linked to your Yandex Browser profile and used for payment in online stores and on online payment services.

Yandex Browser fills in the information from these cards in payment forms on websites when you make purchases. You can manage your card list: save, view, change, or delete them as needed.

Storing cards in Yandex Browser and Yandex ID

Where can I pay by card?	In Yandex services. In Yandex mobile apps.
How is my data protected?	Your data is protected by the PCI DSS standard developed by VISA and MasterCard.	AES-256-GCM encryption is applied with a key used for password encryption. For better protection, create a master password. A key protected with a master password is almost impossible to decipher.
Can any online stores or other online payment recipients access my card data?	No.	Yes, just like when you enter your card details manually.

Save a bank card

When you enter your bank card details in Yandex Browser for the first time, the browser asks if you want to save this information to use it for autofilling online payment forms in the future.

To save bank card data manually:

1. Tap  → Wallet and cards.

2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

3. In the lower-right corner, tap .

4. Enter the card number, expiration date, and (if available) the owner’s first and last name.

5. Tap Save.

View card data

1. Tap  → Wallet and cards.

2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

3. Tap the image of the card.

Change bank card data

1. Tap  → Wallet and cards.

2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

3. Tap the image of the card.

4. Tap Edit.

5. Change the card number, expiration date, or the cardholder's name.

6. Tap Save.

Delete a bank card

1. Tap  → Wallet and cards.

2. If you have already created a master password, enter it to access your vault.

3. Tap the image of the card.

4. Tap Delete card.

5. Confirm deletion.

Synchronizing cards

For security reasons, card data is synced only when you’re using a master password. Your data is securely protected during syncing.

Card syncing will be disabled if you fully disable syncing. To only disable password and card syncing:

1. Tap → Settings.

2. Select Syncing.

3. Disable the Passwords option.

Disable the card manager

1. Select → Settings.

2. In the My data section, tap Personal data manager → Settings.

3. Disable the Bank card manager option.

Yandex Browser will no longer autofill payment forms with bank card details or offer to save cards. Previously entered card data will remain on the tablet in encrypted form and will be available if you re-enable the Bank card manager option in the settings.
