Ad blocking using third-party extensions
You can block ads in Yandex Browser using special extensions. Install the extension supported by the browser on your smartphone and it will block ads on websites.
Supported extensions
Ad blocking extensions compatible with Samsung Internet for Android are supported, for example:
Unlike Antishock, which blocks only shocking ads, third-party extensions can have other blocking criteria. A third-party extension also updates the advertising filters.
Enabling and disabling content blocking
To turn on ad blocking:
- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see this button, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- Go to the Content blocking section.
- Tap Content blocker extensions.
- A list of ad blocking extensions installed on your smartphone will appear on the screen. Select the desired extension.
To turn off ad blocking, open the extension list and choose the Disabled option. If you delete the selected extension from your smartphone, the Disabled option will be set automatically.
Controlling ad blocking on individual sites
Sometimes you will be required to allow ads on a specific site. Examples are if an extension blocks necessary page elements along with ads, or if a site can't open when ad blocking is enabled.
- Unblock ads on a site

- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see this button, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Unblock content.
To resume ad blocking, tap Block content.
