Restriction. Not all websites understand the Do Not Track request. Many of them will still continue to collect and use data about your internet activity.

To prohibit sites from collecting information:

  1. Tap  (if you don't see this button, then press the menu button on your smartphone).
  2. Select Settings.

  4. Enable Do Not Track.

Battery level tracking

By default, the mobile Yandex.Browser hides the smartphone battery level from programs, because this information can be used to track your behavior on the internet. The battery charge level can be used to identify the user even after changing the IP address and other public data. Online shops and services might raise prices for urgent items or services when the battery is almost empty, because the user does not have time to look for an alternative.

If you want to allow websites to track the battery level:

  1. Tap  (if you don't see this button, then press the menu button on your smartphone).
  2. Select Settings.
  3. In the Advanced section, tap Site options.
  4. Disable Hide battery charge level from sites.
