Translate pages

Mobile Yandex.Browser automatically detects the language of the loaded page and translates it into the language of the browser interface.

Translate the page to the browser interface language

Follow these steps to translate a page from a foreign language to the language used in your browser interface:

  1. Tap  (if you don't see this button, then press the menu button on your smartphone).
  2. Tap Translate page in the menu.

In the upper part of the screen, you'll see the Translator toolbar display the translation progress. If you want to stop the translation, tap  on the right side of the toolbar.

To go back to the page in the original language, use one of the following options:

  • On you smartphone, press Back.
  • Tap Show original in the menu.

Translate a page to another language

Follow these steps to translate a page to the language of your choice:

  1. Tap  (if you don't see this button, then press the menu button on your smartphone).
  2. Tap Translate page in the menu.
  3. Choose your language from the list in the left part of the Translator toolbar.
