Tabs
Where are my tabs?
In the lower-right corner, tap the icon with the number of tabs ( if three tabs are open).

You'll see a list of all tabs open in Yandex Browser for Mobile.
Open a page in a new tab
- Tap and hold the page link.
- In the context menu, tap:
- Open in new tab to go to the link on a new tab.
- Open in background to open the link in a new tab but stay on the current tab.
To switch to a tab that's opened in the background, tap the icon with the number of tabs ( if three tabs are open) and select a tab.
New tab
Note. If you don't use your smartphone for a few hours and then turn it back on, Yandex Browser displays the tabs that were open earlier. If you want to always open a new tab after you re-open Yandex Browser, tap and enable Start browser from a new tab screen.
- Tap
in the panel under the SmartBox.
- Enter a search query or web address, or choose a site in the Tableau.
Note. If the current tab is in Incognito mode, the new tab also opens in Incognito mode.
- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap New tab.
- Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example,
if you have three tabs open).
- Tap

- Enter a search query or web address. Or select a site on the Tableau.
Note. If you want to see the virtual keyboard when you open a new tab, go to More settings and turn on Keyboard for new tab.
Switch between tabs
- To go to the previous tab, swipe the current tab to the right.
- To go to the next tab, swipe the current tab to the left.
Note. Жест активен, если в настройках в разделе Дополнительно включена опция Переключать вкладки свайпом от края экрана.

- Choose a tab from the list.
Close tabs
- Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example,
if you have three tabs open).
- Swipe the page left or right, or tap
in the top-right corner of the tab.
- Tap the icon showing the number of tabs (for example,
if you have three tabs open).
- Tap and hold the tab.
- In the popup menu, select: Close tabs above, Close tabs below, Close other tabs, or Close all tabs.
- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap Settings.
- In the More settings section, enable Close tabs when exiting browser.
- Tap
in the browser (if you don't see the icon, press the menu button on your smartphone).
- Tap.
- Specify when to close tabs that you haven't viewed for a long time. If you don't want the browser to close tabs automatically, select Never.

When you close Yandex Browser
If you want all tabs to close when you close the browser:

If you have more than 100 tabs open, the browser can automatically close the ones that you haven't looked at for the longest time:
Tabs on other devices
Tabs open on your computer, tablet, and smartphone are displayed after browser syncing.
- View tabs left open on other devices

- Open the device folder: Computer, Tablet, or Phone.
- Tap the line with the tab you want.
