# Solving common problems
This section provides solutions to the most common problems that occur when using Yandex Browser for Mobile.

## Browser freezes{#browser-hangs}
If Yandex Browser freezes, contact us via the [form](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/feedback/feedback.md). Describe your situation in as much detail as possible:
- What actions cause the browser to freeze.
- Describe what happened before the browser stopped responding. For example, did you reinstall the browser, update or install programs or extensions?
If some pages take a long time to load, check whether you moved your browser cache to a memory card. If you did, move it back. To do this:

Tap → .
2. Go to **Advanced**.
3. If the **Store cache on SD card** option is enabled, disable it.
If this doesn't help, contact support:
- Does the problem occur with all webpages or only certain ones (if so, which ones).
- If you have problems opening pages, include the error text in your message.
## Browser crashes{#browser-crashes}
[Update Yandex Browser](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/install/install.md#update) to the latest version.
If the problem persists, contact us via the [form](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/feedback/feedback.md). Describe your situation in as much detail as possible:
- What actions cause the browser to close.
- On which sites does the browser close most often.
- What happens when you try to open it again (For example, you get an error message or the window doesn't open correctly).
If possible, attach a [screenshot](https://yandex.com/support/common/en/troubleshooting/screenshot.html) or a video of the error when the browser closes and a screenshot of the `browser://crashes` page.
## Browser takes too long to start{#long-start}
Try clearing the [Yandex Browser cache](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/privacy/cache.md) and temporarily disable [extensions](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/personal-settings/extensions.md).

Deselect all the other options (if you only want to delete the browser cache).

You'll see a list of browser extensions that you have installed. Tap **More extensions** under the list.

## Browser takes up a lot of space{#lots-space}
Check how much space the [browser cache](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/privacy/cache.md) takes up. To do this:

1. Open your device settings.
1. Tap **Apps** → **All apps**.
1. Select **Yandex Browser** → **Memory**.
: If **Data** take up more than 200 MB, clear the browser cache:

Tap → .

Go to the **Privacy** section.

Tap **Clear data**.
1.
Select **Cache**.
1.
Deselect all the other options (if you only want to delete the browser cache).

Tap **Clear data**.

Confirm deletion.
## Site content isn't displayed correctly{#wrong-content}
Webpages might display incorrectly. For example, the page displays garbled characters instead of letters, or the formatting may be broken. You may also run across buttons that don't work, links that don't open, or disappearing menus.
Try refreshing the page and clearing the [browser cache](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/privacy/cache.md).

## Audio is lagging or takes a long time to load{#long-time-load}
If the audio file takes a long time to load, try clearing the [browser cache](https://yandex.com/support/browser-mobile-android-phone/en/privacy/cache.md). To do this:

Tap **Clear data**.

Select **Cache**.

Deselect all the other options (if you only want to delete the browser cache).

## Where is Turbo mode?{#turbo}
Yandex Browser used Turbo mode to speed up access to various sites, but it only worked over the HTTP protocol. There are very few such sites left now, so we turned off Turbo mode in Yandex Browser and removed it from settings. We introduced other mechanisms to keep Yandex Browser fast without any special modes and will continue working to make it even faster.
