Yandex Browser for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1
Microsoft ended support for Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 in January 2023. Since then, many popular browsers have stopped releasing updates for these Windows versions. We kept updating Yandex Browser on these operating systems to ensure the security of our users' data.
Today, Windows 7, 8, and 8.1 have so many vulnerabilities that Yandex Browser's security measures can no longer mitigate them. With user security as our top priority, we have made the decision to end support for these versions of Windows.
We recommend that users with obsolete operating systems upgrade to Windows 10 (64-bit) or higher and install the latest version of Yandex Browser.
