If you want to serve Yandex.Direct ads to your current clients you just need to upload the information from your Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database to Yandex.Audience and use the created segment in your ad campaign settings in Yandex.Direct.
When creating a segment, your data will be compared with all accumulated Yandex data on users. The segment will include all cookies that Yandex knows of for people whose information you uploaded.
You can find users that are similar to your existing customers in terms of their interests and their behavior on the internet. Users found with Look-alike technology are likely to be more interested in your product or service than ordinary internet users. Their cookies will be saved in a separate segment that can be used when displaying ads.
You can use one segment to set up advertising for several accounts in Yandex.Direct and Yandex.Display.
