Events

You can configure the collection of custom events in the interface. The SettingsList of events section displays all events ever sent from your app and the number of events recorded in the last 24 hours.

If your app has events that you don't use for analytics, you can disable their collection. Find the event and set the Collecting disabled mode in the Events collection block. After that, disabled events will no longer be collected or count toward the limit. However, all previously sent events remain in the reports and count toward the limit.

SKAdNetwork conversion value

The conversion value in SKAdNetwork is a way to measure the actions that a user performed after installation. AppMetrica offers several methods for measuring the conversion value. Choose the one that suits you best:

  • Conversions evaluates the conversion rate of any 6 target events.
  • Events count calculates how many target events users have completed on average and in total.
  • Revenue calculates the total amount of purchases, ARPU, the number and share of paying users (based on Revenue or E-commerce events).

An app should have uniform rules for measuring the conversion value. The another conversion scheme is linked warning means that your app also uses another APIKey, that has another measurement configured. For one APIKey in several apps, you can apply the same conversion value measurement scheme.

Learn more about the conversion value.

To start measuring the conversion value in your app:

  1. Specify your app's Bundle ID.

  2. Choose what you want to measure:

    • Conversions: Choose up to 6 different events from the list. You can choose custom events, e-commerce events, and Revenue.

    • Events count: Choose one event. You can choose custom events, e-commerce events, and Revenue.

    • Revenue: Choose which events to use for revenue calculation: Revenue (Revenue events) or E-commerce purchase (E-commerce events).

  3. Choose the measurement period. SKAdNetwork will send installation and conversion value data even if the conversion value continues to show a steady growth. We recommend limiting the period when measuring the number of frequent events or daily increasing revenue per user — SKAdNetwork won't report an install as long as the conversion value continues to increase within the 24-hour period.

  4. Click Save.
